Sigaram thodu preview

Staring : Vikram Prabhu, Monal Gajjar, Sathyaraj

Director : Gaurav

Music : D. Imman

Production : UTV

Sigaram Thodu is Vikram Prabhu’s 4th film as an actor in the Tamil film industry. Ever since he forayed his way into films, his laudable script selection has resulted in the flowering of decent films which have done reasonably well at the Box Office. Following a rural Kumki, an intense Ivan Vera Madhri and the racy Arima Nambi, the actor returns to the big screen this Friday with Sigaram Thodu, an entertainer with something to offer in every department.

Sigaram Thodu has a superb cast with Sathyaraj as Vikram Prabhu’s father, Sathish taking care of the comic portions while Monal Gajjar will make her silver screen debut with this film. The music is composed by D.Imman and the cinematography is by newbie Vijay Ulaganath. Gaurav Narayan, who earlier directed the interesting Thoonga Nagaram is the director of the film. Following are some reasons why you should go watch Sigaram Thodu at a screen nearby.

1) Sigaram Thodu is based on rampant credit card scams in the state. The film will deal with a real issue which is fast turning into a major problem to the cops these days.

2) The first half of the film will have a lot of comic portions with Vikram Prabhu and Sathish. It will also pave way to the romantic episodes between the lead pair.

3) The second half will focus on the credit card issue and the way it is tackled. It will feature Vikram Prabhu as a ruthless cop for 3-4 scenes in the film.

4) The cherry on the cake will be the scenes between Sathyaraj and Vikram Prabhu. The film will establish an emotional connect in this regard.

5) Director Gaurav Narayan has met few real life scamsters as a part of his Sigaram Thodu screenwriting process. The film is said to be adept with action scenes and intense portions in the second half.

6) D.Imman has come up with some interesting tunes for the film. Yesudas’ Anbulla Appa and the duet melody Pidikudhe were our picks in our music review here.

7) All in all, Sigaram Thodu is a neat entertainer which you can watch with your family this weekend. It has comedy, action, songs and a connect which will leave you with a smile.
